Vrsi
(Mediterranean Paradise)
The village of Vrsi is located on the peninsula of the same name in the northwestern part of northern Dalmatia, about 20 km away from Zadar and about 5 km away from the oldest Croatian royal town Nin.
The place was named after its location at the top of the peninsula, hence the name Vrsi, which is the plural of the peak in the Croatian language. Today's village of Vrsi has an area of slightly more than 2467 ha and about 1700 permanent residents.
Vrsi is adorned with a beautiful coast about 34 km long, rich in natural beaches and coves suitable for swimming or simply for a quiet holiday away from urban centers. There are also 2 islands Mišjak and Zečevo. The islet of Zečevo is especially interesting because during low tide it turns into a peninsula, and the tide makes it an island. On this island, there is also the church of Our Lady of Zečevo, to which the faithful make a pilgrimage every year on May 5 and August 5.
Vrsi grew on the foundations of 4 old Croatian settlements, and today 2 new settlements Mulo and Zukve are growing from Vrsi. In the fifties of the 20th century, the people of Vršac began to descend to the coast and build their houses there, as well as the new settlement of Mulo. Today, Mulo is an oasis of beautiful houses whose hosts are mostly oriented towards tourism. KORNATI National Park is the densest archipelago in the Mediterranean out of a total of 89 islands, islets, and reefs. Kornati crowns (cliffs on the outer island series) rising from the blue of the sea will enchant you with their beauty. The islands are mostly covered with vegetation of rocky pastures that give the Kornati islands a special landscape attraction, and the underwater world of this park is biologically considered one of the most valuable in the Adriatic.

KRKA National Park is named after the Krka River, a karst beauty that is building seven extremely picturesque travertine waterfalls, including the beautiful Skradinski buk, the highest waterfall in the Mediterranean (46m). Apart from the enchanting beauty of the waterfalls, you will also be won over by the islet of Visovac surrounded by a lake with a Franciscan monastery and the church of Our Lady of Mercy. The biological diversity of the Krka National Park consists of Mediterranean and sub-Mediterranean plant and animal communities, to the value of which a large number of endemic species also contribute.

VRANSKO JEZERO Nature Park is the largest natural lake in Croatia located near the town of Biograd. Due to the richness of the bird world (wetland bird), one part of this lake has been declared a special ornithological reserve, and is included in the List of Important Ornithological Areas of Europe. The richness of fish also gives the park its biological value. Vrana Lake Nature Park is rich in cultural and historical sights, of which we can highlight the old Benedictine, later Templar monastery from the 10th century.

TELAŠĆICA Nature Park consists of three basic phenomena: Telašćica Bay with a 69 km long indented coast within which there are 5 islands, one cliff and 25 smaller bays, a long-island cliff that rises up to 160 m above sea level and vertically descends to 85 m depth, and the salty island lake Mir with its healing properties, which is located in a narrow part of the mainland between the bay of Telašćica and the open sea. Telašćica is the most beautiful and largest Adriatic bay visited by many boaters.
